30,000 sudden cardiac arrests each year in Spain deserve a second chance

Only 5% of people who suffer a cardiac arrest outside hospital survive. No dejes para mañana is a social project by which Ibiza will become an international benchmark for having the highest rate of people trained in CPR and defibrillator use. This will be achieved through several free, open events and workshops.

DO YOU KNOW WHAT TO DO IF SOMEONE GOES INTO CARDIAC ARREST?
RESPONSE TIME IS VITAL

As each minute passes, if no treatment is delivered the chance of survival decreases by 10%. Cardiac arrest is a time-dependent process. This means that the prognosis will drastically change if basic CPR is provided as soon as possible until medical emergency services arrive. Taking these vital steps of the chain of survival is essential to carry out a successful resuscitation.
